(music: La Valse a Mille Temps - Joseph Gordon-Levitt)
This. Ovaries. Exploded. Lyssa says her ovaries explode when she looks at Eunhyuk's jawline. You should Google-image it, Eunhyuk's jawline is really one of a kind. My ovaries wouldn't explode though, he doesn't do it for me.
Two nights ago, I went for dinner with the guai-kias.
I had a White Christmas. It had cinnamon around the side of the glass, so when I drank it from the glass instead of using my spoon, I said "I can taste the cinnamon coming in" and Andrea said "you can taste the cinnamon coming? and your drink is white!" so Pearlyn asked why white and coming were related.
Aanyway, the drink was served with two macarons which tasted really good with the drink.
Dirty Andrea and her aglio olio. She stole Pasta from me. I miss seeing Pasta. When ah, when?
My main course of chicken thigh.
It had a long stalk of broccoli and Andrea is all "longggg?" *waggles eyebrow*
Cuifen posing for a photo and checking her fringe, so I said "no hole no hole!" and Andrea obviously picks that up and says, "hole?" She was also talking about meatballs and sotong balls and fishballs and comparing them to Chinese, .... okay never mind.
Viv, you reckon Andrea's the dirtiest-minded of us? She should write a book and call it Dirty Chronicles.
GK ♥ !
Zhen zhu indeed :P
I brought them to the basement of OC/linkway to Centrepoint to take photos! :)
We took one at the Xmas tree also. Yay!
That night, I saw this beauty of a cat. I'm definitely a cat person.

Yesterday, I was out with my family.
We are being culturally insensitive towards our own culture (somewhat?). Also, Lyssa is too skinny, she wore two cardigans (both the white and red ones) and she was still cold. Dafuq.
Lyssa and I were talking about Shirley from Community who is supposedly a good Christian woman *coughcoughcoughchokesfromcoughing* and Aqilah tried to cross her heart/herself and she didn't know how to so she went in a diamond pattern instead. *dies from laughter*
Last week we were also at Suntec City and these are my sisters aegyo-ing. Figure out what aegyo means, yourself. (Wah I very sleepy, forgive me.)
Someday this week, we had nasi ayam penyet from Mr Teh Tarik. I will never have enough of nasi ayam penyet, the sambal is so good and it's so near my house, and I wish all my circles of friends would keep eating at cheap places like coffee shops 'cos I'm broke and I'm a firm believer (I think) that you can get good food without paying a lot of money.
My cousin brought her baby Eva to our house on.... Monday night? Or Tuesday. One of those. SHO CUTESY. I asked Arina if she'd like a baby (like my mother gives birth again), and Arina said "I'm too young to have a husband!" BAGUS. Five thousand Captain Obvious points to her.
CHO CUTE.
On.... Tuesday.... We went for lunch at Swensen's. I had a Christmas special dessert, which had gingerbread men in it.
Hehehe I love cutesy holiday specials. Pink buttons! Just eat only!
One night (can you tell I'm really not bothered when?) Aqilah and Arina were building a pillow/blanket fort to be like Abed and Troy. NO EFFING WAY. Lyssa and I are the original Abed and Troy. All Lyssa needs is a video-camera, she already has the robot-like technical way of doing things without feelings, whereas I think I'm awesome and the world revolves around me (like Troy).
*Abed decorates a Christmas "Troy" (instead of Christmas tree)* Jeff: "why do you guys do such stuff?!" Troy & Abed: "it's fun" ....... *Jeffs helps Abed to decorate Troy* HAHAHAH RIDICULOUS.
Today was BFF! Best Friend Friday, and we had Best Fries Forever teehee!
Han and I extended our record by one movie this time, we watched four in a day, instead of three!
We watched New Year's Eve first, during which I cried because I was thinking about the whole "reflection" and fresh starts, second chances and being better people thinking. Also, I am a sop. I cry at everything. Anyway, NYE is really a decent and enjoyable movie. Funny, touching, much smarter and better than Valentine's Day.
Also, Ashton Kutcher. He made me happy. But not as happy as the last movie did.
Second, we watched Ides of March. Smart movie, very intriguing and fast-paced the further it went, and also see: Ryan Gosling. #jizzman of the moment. Ryan Gosling is hot and handsome. It is a fact. You cannot dispute it. He also acts well. I cried because his performance in Blue Valentine broke my heart. Therefore, fact proven.
Thirdly, we decided to take a chance and watch The Artist, which is a silent film! It was in black and white and had no dialogue! Attempt to be artsy, successful.
Problem was, with little dialogue, I think it was very hard to focus so either of us would nod off for like a second before forcing ourselves to resume watching again. It takes a superb attention span, which does not exist in today's society. It was a good first experience, though we'd rather have it as our last as well.
LAST BUT FUCKING BESTLY (word does not exist, this I know) was 50/50.
The moment the movie started with Joseph Gordon-Levitt jogging across the screen, I gave a little yelp and grabbed Han's hand and she had to stifle her giggles whilst I tried to control myself so I wouldn't be yelping the whole movie and disturb the theatre (I sort of still did, though).
OH JOE. He so cuuuuute. When he shampooed himself in the bath, I lit up. When he bit his nails, I lit up. In fact, I would bite his nails for him. When he first found out he had cancer, shellshocked and blanked out in the doctor's office, a part of me died inside (maybe my ovaries).
Joe/Adam (his character name, but pshhh, who cares): "Me? Cancer? I don't smoke, I don't drink, I recycle."
I guffawed at that because any joke he makes is twenty-eight times funnier.
Oh my God he was so cute and so sweet, and when he was smirking and smiling and just being happy when he was high on weed, I think I was on a cloud along with him.
I cried like at least a hundred tears (literally) when he was having his nervous breakdown in his car, saying "I'm so sick of being sick, I just want it to end" I WAS CRYING LIKE A THUNDERSTORM ;_; I choked on my tears and mucus and was coughing for quite a while, I REGRET NOTHING.
I don't know, I'm not sure if I was picturing my real Joe having cancer (he acts so well, oh baby I'm so proud of you) or I kept getting reminded of my mum having cancer, and the fact that the road isn't smooth, but either ways, my tears were just leaking and pouring and it was torrential.
I was trying not to sniff my mucus, so the audience wouldn't be distracted but I was suffering in there man. THE GOOD THING IS, HAN CRIED TOO. Five thousand more points to Joseph Gordon-Levitt for making Han cry! It's an extremely tough job to make/see her cry. She is the rock to my feathery weak constitution.
I'm watching it again, definitely. It doesn't matter if I'm broke, for Joe I will.
So that was my day well-spent. I was with my best friend, and we got some close-up time with Ashton Kutcher and Ryan Gosling and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I think that only Ryan Gosling has any appeal for Han though, not that I mind. Nobody can touch my Joe, and Ashton needs to man up. HAHAHA.
After the movies, I headed to Tampines to get a gift from Bhavs, she wanted to pass it to me before I leave for KL tomorrow morning (actually, in 3 hours).
I really like it! It's elegant and pretty and very practical, so I shall use it immediately, on the way to KL etc. I can't say what it is yet, because she got similar items for the other girls, but each one personalised. I like it, it's my favourite kind. :)
I hope she likes her gift from me, see if you can guess which of them is the box from me! ;)
I'm gonna be spending the long weekend at KL, back on Monday night! Happy holidays y'all! Here's a hug for Huda (remember to pick yourself up when you're down!), for Tiqs (I hope you're getting well already!), for Shahida (my sweet bb kitty), for Fiq (who doesn't mind hugs, I miss you and your snark), and a high-five for Han, who doesn't hug. Enjoy, I love you!
