Thanks to Lyssa and Shikin, I am now resuming my Nigahiga/all YTF (Chester See!!!) video-stalking.



I love this to no end! I love Ryan's ridiculous rap, Victor's lyrics (the missing half of a pair of socks), Ryan's stupid facial expression and random air-drumming and hand gestures (trying to do finger-magic like that advertisement for some Samsung phone? HAHAHA).

They all remind me of three different guys, you can't even guess who. Don't even guess. I hope you enjoy this!

Yesterday I was Skypeing with Shereen, and she showed me the plans of her renovated room, which looked gorgeous. She got me inspired to do my own room, especially since my room is so plain and.... green, and not me at all! I'm so sick of this room. I feel so dull looking at it. Like why is my room so boring?

I went through my Tumblr for ideas to carry out the makeover, I'm really gonna decorate it until you won't think it belongs to a plain Jane. I'd really appreciate all thoughts/suggestions/advice/help on how to do it up/where I can get supplies, etc! For example, Li-wen told me where to get 3M sticky-thingy to hang up posters! ♥




Would love to get wallpaper for maybe the top borders of the room! It doesn't have to be pink/floral!


Fairy lights on my bed! Shereen says she'd help me with this, but I think this will be after repainting! I need to repaint my room fo sho, currently it's a lime green and.... not say I don't like lime green, I just prefer maybe 100 other colour schemes.

Gratefully very much if you could think up of colour schemes for me! My old room in Punggol had alternating pink and black walls, so I'm trying to stay away from those two, but anything else/any other combination would be good! I'm thinking of painting rainbow hearts, on the top borders if I don't get the wallpaper.


I know this is ridiculously impossible to find (let alone install) but a rainbow chandelier would be the fucking bomb.


Would anyone like to fold a string of rainbow cranes for me please? :D

I'm actually very much into a rainbow palette rather than a solely pink scheme for my room. I actually think I'd like something rainbowy for the curtains as well. I don't want just one basic colour scheme for everything to adhere to. I'd like anything in the following range, to paste/hang up or to decorate with.

Peacock feathers! I think peacocks and rainbows are two of the most beautiful things ever and I wanna incorporate a bit of both.

Besides the main colour themes, I know I wanna put up a huge noticeboard on the wall opposite my bed. The wall is currently empty except for a boring round wall clock (which I will replace with something fancier).

I want the noticeboard to pin up cards and photos and posters, so I can have some things to read, instead of keeping my entire stash of notes in a box in the wardrobe, never seeing the light of day! It would be nice, and I could customise it with a quote according to the occasion or season in my life.

For noticeboard/curtains/clock/whatever, I'm definitely gonna have to make an IKEA run (or two, or three), anybody in?!

I'd like to have this drawn/painted on one of my walls, maybe I'll engage Syafiqin to do this! I don't trust myself.

On the empty walls or noticeboard (not that there will be space, I predict), I have a thousand ideas of posters to put up. I'll probably stick posters onto every free inch of wall I can see.







This is a bit over. I don't even have a phone line in my room. But I like the idea of pink glittery heels.


This has even less relevance except that it's pink Oreos.


A pink mask to hang on a corner of my noticeboard would be eye-catching! (I love feathers, you must know.)


PINK TYPEWRITER. This is another impossible, like a rainbow chandelier, but one can dream, right?!

Along with random nonsense, I think I'll print many small photos of cute animals and make a collage, frame it up and put it on the wall that is to the right of my bed, beside my window. I can look at it and be happy looking at the adorbzness that are animals!

Wow I'm really excited! I don't know how or why I never thought of doing up my room, and now I wanna, and it's spilling all over, I can't contain my excitement!

I really want to do this thoroughly, I want to have a bit of creativity and cuteness and beauty and things that awe me, all around me in my room, instead of kept in my wardrobe, so that I can keep remembering and living the happiness that I felt in a moment once, somewhere.

I hope there are people to help me! I'm gonna try and rope in my Tasties of course, but anyone who wants to help me shop for stuff at IKEA/for paint/wallpaper anywhere is welcome to! Also, you could suggest places to print my stuff, if you're the artsy/design type! I think I shall also ask Khalis for help with the noticeboard. For all I know, he'll agree to make me one if IKEA proves to be expensive hahaha. IDK, must recce first.

Wish me luck, and I'd be glad for any help at all! Anything is appreciated. What kind of paint/where to get nice (affordable) curtains/alternatives to printing/if you love origami and want to fold me paper cranes. Heheheh.

He draws the curtain, filling the room with light, and a view of the sea.

It hurts her eyes, trying to accustom themselves to such intense brightness after a night in the dark. She rubs them, looks up at him and gives him a smile, or what she hopes is a smile, because she's still in that pleasant state between sleep and wakefulness, and her muscles don't really know what they're doing.

"Mmph--mmm-hmmm-mph.."

"It's 8.30," was his reply.

She figures there's still time to laze before having to rush for work (or was it school then?), to leave him to his world. Two minutes later, she looks up at his standing figure again, and says, "wait, what did I ask just now?"

" 'What time is it?' " he says.

"Did I actually say that?"

"No, but I figured from your tone, the lilt in your voice" he responds while touching her ear, and kissing her shoulder. 

She turns away, not letting him see her wide smile, with more than a hint of sad in her eyes. She knows they were going to end, and soon, and she hoped against hope to find someone else who'd be able to read her from a few muffled half-words.

Today was a very nice day spent with Lyssa, and then my whole family. We had a reunion dinner, and hilarious conversations. I'll blog about it along with the other main CNY celebrations, probably on Wednesday or Thursday. Happy Lunar New Year, yall! Wishing you all fortune and prosperity!
